I recently availed of a service through snapdeal(Rashtriya chemical & herbal pest control service worth Rs.3450). The discounted price was Rs.399(of which Rs.149 I paid to snapdea and remaining Rs.250 to be paid to the merchant).
The person whom they sent over to do the pest control treatment at my house came with a syringe that had hardly 5ml of the gel in it. He was in such a hurry that he completed the entire kitchen within a matter of 2 min. When I looked at the syringe it looked like it hadn't been used. When I questioned him about this he said that how much more could I expect for Rs. 250.
He only used the gel in the kitchen(that too, very very sparingly). The rest of the house he sprayed mostly water and 5-6 drops of some chemical. That too, he was in and out of the rooms before you could blink.
This is my first dealing with snapdeal and I am thoroughly disappointed. If the merchant is only going to provide you with the service for the price you are paying them, then why go for such tall claims.
A clear warning to any one who is thinking on signing up wiht Snapdeal. Do not waste your hard earned money on such scams!
