My tryst with mobile started with my first job, I bought Nokia2600, then switched over to MotorazorV3i....bored from it, I bought N70.....then finally I got engaged...& suddenly found my phone bills shooting up, like inflation these days . So I decided to take TATA connection but found that not much options exist for CDMA phones & bought a cheap Haier mobile.
Again bored...I decided to go for a phone, which looks stylish, had basic functions (with basic function, I mean to say MP3, FM radio & a decent camera......).After using high end mobiles like MotorazorV3i & N70, I've come to conclusion that mobiles r meant for communicating only, well this is my personal opinion. So I finally ended up buying this phone, Samsung MAX..& its a good phone, I must say....voice clarity, stereo sound for MP3 & FM, 1.3Mpx. decent camera (for taking occasional pics only, so that u dont miss any important moment) are some of its features.
Battery last for 2 days, once fully charged up, Mobile tracker is one of the good feature it has, which even some high end phones lacks. Emergency SOS is another speciality of this phone, it sends emergency SMS to predefined nos, even if the phone is locked, when u press it volume keys for 4 times & amazingly receives call automatically after that without even sliding up....Expandable memory upto 2GB, bluetooth, can act as a USB modem, utilities like alarm, converter, calculator, scheduler r some other features.....there is a Panchang option, good for people, who r looking for auspicious occasions every time they start a job.....However it has limitations, it cannot play video files & doesn't have JAVA enabled on it (so u wont be able to browse some of the sites), but then it's not a high end phone, priced at 7200/-. I recommend it for those who r looking for a better phone in CDMA section, with looks & cost in mind....
