I was admitted in Sagar Apollo hospital in the month of January 2010 due to viral fever(suspected H1N1).
I am from north India so I asked the dietician to replace idli sambhar in the breakfast with daliya. They indeed replaced it with daliya but when i half ate it i saw a small cockroach inside it. I was really disgusted with such services of the hospital. I could have gone really far with this , but who would like to spend days and hours of their precious time in court and lethargic government work. The pro was called in for this , but as expected they had nothing to say but a cold sorry.
The staff of the hospital ( mostly nurses and housekeeping) understand Kannada and no other language. So it is really difficult to talk to them in Hindi or English. I think this hospital is good just for the local people and it has no scope of expanding and entering global market with a staff comfortable only with the Kannada and not the national language - Hindi or international official language English.
Folks one more useful thing, sagar apollo is not the real apollo. Think twice before taking your loved ones to this hospital, who knows they might end up with eating another cockroach or may a lizard this time. I would suggest everyone to learn from my experience and not to go to this hospital ever!!!
