Royal Enfield are old and clunky bikes. Surely people used to use it for long range touring but at that time we didn't have any better bikes for the same but now we have. I think RE should reduce weight of all its bikes 50 kgs so they can lessen the vibrations and improve power to weight ratio. Engine refinements are long due. Some Enfield’s still looks very old and rural. They need to make their design more sophisticated, clean, aesthetic and they real need to improve its build quality i.e, how the bike is put together. Bigger radial grippy tires are expected from such big bikes. Should you buy an Enfield? Yes if the looks have caught your eyes, otherwise move on to other more competitive bikes like Avenger, Banelli, Pulsar, Gixxer, FZ and Fazer, Mojo, Triumph, Harley etc.

If u already have a 150+ cc buke like pulsar 180.220.karizma.or apache’s wont feel much difference when u ride a 350cc Enfield. The new use engine of Enfield is more refined than the old cast iron models. So there is a lack of thump. The older ones were slow. New model have power and pretty fast. But the 350cc model which ways around 187kgs have an engine with a power output of 19bhp which is quite low for a bike of this weight
