I went to watch Retro with no big expectations, but after seeing it, I was really surprised. Chala chakkaga tayaaru chesaru ee cinema ni. The whole movie gave me a nostalgic 90s feeling with a modern touch. I really enjoyed it!

The story was simple but heart-touching. It shows how love and life was in the 90s time, with no phones, no social media – just pure emotions. Hero and heroine performances were very natural. Their expressions, body language, everything felt real. It didn’t feel like acting, it felt like I was watching real people.

The songs are a big plus in this movie. Especially that melody song with rain visuals – adhi super hit material. Music director ki hats off. Background score kuda soft and emotional ga untundi, not too loud, just right. I still listen to those songs daily.

Cinematography is very good. Every frame looked beautiful, with perfect colors and lighting. Costumes and sets matched the retro theme so well. It really felt like we traveled back to the 90s.

The comedy timing was nice too. There are few scenes with side characters that made the whole theatre laugh. Simple ga but clean ga entertain chesaru. No unnecessary adult jokes or over drama.

Director did a great job. He didn’t try to add forced action or twists. He focused only on storytelling and emotions. Andaridi relatable ga untadi ee movie. Especially for people born before 2000, ee film lo chala memories vasthayi.

Of course, the second half lo konchem slow ga velthundi, but it’s ok. Because of the emotional scenes and the climax, it still feels satisfying. Ending lo oka small twist vachesindi, but it was believable and heartwarming.

Overall, Retro is a feel-good movie that touches your heart. It's not a mass film or action entertainer, but it’s a simple story told beautifully. Youth kuda enjoy chestaru, but elders will love it more.
