I had booked ticket with rebus few months ago. later I received a call in the morning of travel date from redbus that the tickets are cancelled. I had to run around and book another ticket. And here is the best part: I did not receive any refund. I thought just like any other refunds I will receive a refund in my bank account after few days. I did not receive any refund. I called up redbus customer service and asked for refund. Redbus customer representative sent me below email:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your request.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard. With reference to your email below, we request you to kindly provide the below details to verify the call recordings and to proceed further.
Mobile number which you received the call from redbus.
Customer care number.
Date & Time of Calling.
Customer executive name.
We look forward to serving you again in the future.
I did not remember the customer executive name, I also did not have the mobile number from which I received the call from redbus since it had been around a month since I received the call. .Long story short, I did not receive any refund for a ticket cancelled from redbus side.
hope my review will save somebody money, time and inconvenience.
