This film is based on an actual story of a serial murderer in the late 1970s. The portrayal of the murderer is done by the versatile actor Nawazuddin, who perfectly fits the role and does full justice to the complexity of the character.
The direction of Anurag Kashyap is pretty good and so is the acting of the rest of the cast. Some of the scenes are extremely well shot and the intensity and seriousness of the background music does full justice to the storyline and plot.
Especially, the acting of the lead actor is so convincing and intense that it is hard to look away from the screen. He is perfectly able to portray himself as an insane psychopath.
I recommend you to watch this film for its acting.
