The great wall of Indian batting is what he is called? But he is not given the same hero status as Sachin. Its true Sachin is a real hero but it is rahul who is the rock on which indian team rests. He was a real crucial player who played an important role in India's Natwest final win over England. But he wasn't heard of after the final. It was Kaif & Yuvraj stealing the show. One must not forget the contribution that Rahul played not only as a batsmen but also as a keeper in that One Day series. Here also we find in India's match against Zimbabwe in ICC champions trophy in Sri Lanka. He was the one who along with Kaif who rescued India from defeat but because Kaif made more runs he stole the spotlight from Rahul. Its high time that we honour such un-sung heroes.
