Before watching movies, I used to read Rajeev Masand's Reviews at ibnlive.com and also nikhat kazmi's on The times of india.
I feel I should not if I have to enjoy or feel a movie myself, I should go without expectations.
I liked Shahrukh khan playing someone from us and a heroine who looks like a girl next door.
I liked the story taking predictable paths which we dont predict but actually feels is the right thing to do.
Yes the film gets little uninterested when shahrukh deliberately plays that modern rootless guy.
Didnt we enjoyed reading premchand's stories in schools ??
Why reviewers should use being predictable as a demerit for the movie.
What thrill, what adreline rush, what sleeping with other guy stories Mr Bhatt and Mr. Imran hashmi has not depicted to thrill you ??? Still ye dil maange more ???!!!!!!
Why predictable but simple story taking ideal paths wont suit our tastes anymore...
Shouldn't we have films to go with 10 yr old chidrens ??
Or should we must have films with unpredictable twists like the guy turning raskal or the girl in a bitchy avatar ????
The film touches common man's Heart. One, who is ordinary by looks but has a good heart and dreams for love, being wanted and romance.
A Question to reviewers like Mr Rajeev Masand and Ms. Nikhat kazmi :
Don't you do this painful work of sitting through all kinda movies and think over it to write a review? All to support your family?
Although, with your looks and fame u could have bagged more adventurous roles in life. Let the Common Man be a common man. Let the dreams be simpler, and so the life. Lets appreciate shahrukh khan playing a middle class guy so realistically.
You enjoy seemingly false fictions like Oye Lucky...a common man turning thief, why not a common man doing something ideal?
Why its necessary for Someone's wife to elope or sleep with someone's else after all ?? Just to make a film unpredictable and thrilling.
