I had booked a Santro for Pick up at Goa airport, initially I was told the drop off charges would be Rs.400.00 every subsequent phone call to and from them had different charges being mentioned upto Rs. 600.00.
The car delivered to me had 48000 Kms plus on the Odometer and was scratched and ented on the outside and tattered and torn in the inside. Pick up went Ok taking a lot of time marking all damages on the outside.
The return was where it all became hell, the driver came more than 40 minutes late. Even though the car was given to me with the low fuel indicator blinking I gave them the car with more fuel. The driver made me speak with someone from the office who told me I had to pay the driver Rs.200.00 for fuel as he didn't have money. When I refused stating that I have given the car with more fuel than that was given to me he started abusing me and saying that I deserve a cycle etc and that I was a beggar etc etc.
Considering that these guys keep a Rs. 5000.00 cash deposit and an original Proof of address with them this situation could have turned out to be tricky.
