This was my first trip to goa and to be honest, I loved the trip very much. Though the place is a bit far from madgaon station (approx 45 minutes by hotel bus), once you enter the hotel, you forget all the pains that you took to reach the place. The welcome drink served is very refreshing. The rooms are built all over but they are a pleasure to see. I started nurturing a desire of having a same setup for myself. The swimming pool was great. The best parts were 1. the beach that, I believe, was taken by the hotel on lease. It was very clean with no hawkers on it, 2. the interiors of the room, 3. the balconies attached to the rooms. Whenever in the room, I preferred to be in the balcony. 4. the services 5. ... 6. ... the list is endless. Things I didnt like was 1. the restroom that had no water in it. It was a feat to free and make yourself clean. I had to wipe and come out in the washroom to clean myself 2. the fruits and the drinks kept inside the room .... they were tooooooooooooooo costly.
But then overall a very good experience :). Do try it once.
