Hi
If anyone want to take the official training from Oracle Corporation then be ready to shelve out at least a Rs 1 Lakh
The course consist of all the 5 papers of oracle 8i and also 4 papers of 9i. The course duration is approximately 15 days. More information can be taken from Oracle India situated at Bandra-Kurla Complex. contatc person is Poonam Kothare.
Well where the training is conecerned => it is very intensive and starts from morning to evening . I suggest anyone who takes it...should be intelligent and should be able to grasp quickly.
Also before joining this course ..one must know baci SQL commands and a fundamental understanding of DATABASES.
If you know anyother databases such as MS-SQl or IBM DB2...then it is quite simple to learn .
Mind you Oracle DBA is DIFFICULT. A lot of practice is required, which cannot be done in 15 days.
