I bought Nokia Lumia 730 in end Dec 14. It is working great with no lag, no crashes and good handling. The looks are good too. Windows is a better system than android and there are no superfluous apps(a la Samsung) to fill up RAM and memory. I have installed and uninstalled many apps and it works just fine. The screen response and display is good too.
The cost is same if you buy from website or from market, so better to buy from market and get sales staff to help out with change of phone. They have in use pieces so you can actually try and experience the phone before you decide to buy. This is unavailable in most other phones.
As far as build quality is concerned, Nokia is famous for its sturdy build. Need I say more?
the only shortcoming that I noticed is transfer of existing contacts from an android phone. However, since I bought it from a Nokia showroom, the sales staff helped me out and there has been no issue thereafter. You must get a 16GB SD card to store songs etc. Does not cost much.
Microsoft has also announced that when they release Windows 10, they will give free upgrade to all existing customers so a free upgrade is waiting in Sep-Oct 2015.
Most apps now have a windows version too, at least most of the popular ones, so no issue there too.
IMHO, a good bet; I am happy with the buy.
