Value for Money:

E50 is really a nice performing hand set.

  • Has blackberry support and is priced least for any other blackberry device.

  • Has great battery life.

  • The display is really cool. Really rich colors and the long screen displays mails, web pages very nicely. - Web browser is very capable but you have to scroll a lot on almost all the pages; you should install the opera mini for ease of browsing.

  • Has POP/IMAP/SMTP stack

  • General functions like bluetooth, handsfree, easy navigation, music player

  • internal memory

  • Sleek design, light weight

  • You can have security code for the handset/SIM/Memory card to restrict the access to confidencial info.

  • Camera is reasonably good; I have taken lots of snaps and made video which are of reasonable quality that we can expect from 1.3 Mega Pixels.

Cons:

  • complains quite frequently about low on memory. You do not have any other way to get rid of this situation than to restart the set. Which I felt very anoying. You can not open mid sized docs on the phone due to this memory prob.

  • I did not quite like the looks of this phone. I heard there is another varient in shops that is black in color and looks little better.

  • Copy paste functionality is bit tedious on this phone. You have to make really difficult hand gastures to keep pressing the side button and select and copy/paste the text. The sleek design of this phone actually makes holding this key and text selection little difficult.
