The Nikon D5200 is a awsome camera with its kit lense and the 50 mil 1.8 is a fantastic prime lense .If you are interested for better lens then I will recomend nikor 18 - 140 3.5 to 5.6 variable lense . The camera has 24 megapixel apsc sensor .Excilent Image quality and has buffer Rate of 5 fps , fully articulated screen . I will recomend to use the iso not more than 1600 . After that the image starts to grain .The battery life is excilent , it runs 2 to 3 days without charging
