The D3400 Camera is very modestly updated version of the D3300. It helps you to shoot with advanced tools. It is very light weight and simple design.
It has easy to use guide mode, and Bluetooth connectivity, The plastic body is well put-together and the camera has a good grip when you hold it. It is very convenient to carry everywhere.
The 3 inch display has a 921K resolution which is decently bright for most use cases, but not under direct sunlight where it tends to wash out. external flashes, video recording and exposure setting are very nice.
you can buy the body separately or get it with the new 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 or 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 VR AF -P lenses.
Video recording tops out 1080p, just like the D3300. ISO performance is very impressive. It is better for the street photography.
You can also edit photos from the camera itself from the retouch menu, and outsource export them to your phone or tablet.
Overall, the Nikon D3400 is built well and is fairly compact, which is what beginners will appreciate.
