Aala-Re-Aala, Ramgarh Aala re. Hey, am I not supposed to write something about New York, Okie, lemme begin once more, Yo Man, Your In NY!!!! Often called as The Big Apple City, or the Gotham City, My Ramgarh oops, NY has a history of its own - From Manhattan being sold for $ 24 in the year 1626, sheep residing in the 22 acre area of Central Park, wooden wall stood on what is now Wall Street and still making history.

In the past couple of years I have travelled so many places around the world, From Asia to Latin America, But being part of New York is something that will be part of me for years to follow.

A Day Trip In NY

Empire State Building

Visit this before seeing anything else to get the lay of the land. Expect to wait in line at the 86th floor, where a second elevator takes you to the giddy heights of floor 102. If you're a fan of virtual-reality rides, the building houses an amusing big-screen flight simulator.

Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum

This museum is located on the World War II aircraft carrier Intrepid, whose decks are crammed with space capsules and various aircraft. There are plenty of audiovisual shows, as well as hands-on exhibits appealing to children.

Chelsea Piers

This is a must see place, you can enjoy the waterfront view at sunset. From Bowling to Tennis courts, Food Court and other attractions a place to be enjoyed by all generations.

Greenwich Village

It still remains the city's premier acoustic venue for young folkies and touring classic rockers. Hipper local acts such as the Magnetic Fields and the Harry Smiths stop by too (and almost any performer playing here does two sets a night). If you are a pub/club freak, this village has lots in it to make you happy all the time.

Shopping In NY

Soho is still a (pricey) shopping mecca, but the Flatiron District (from 14th Street to 23rd Street, Sixth Avenue to Park Avenue) is gaining ground, with a mix of local favorites and national chains, from ABC Carpet & Home to Old Navy. For bargains on designer clothes, shoes and bedding, head downtown to legendary Century 21 (which was renovated after damage resulting from the 9/11 attack) Or for a taste of old New York, hit the Lower East Side for hundreds of discount apparel and home-decorating shops.

Where to Eat

Many downtown restaurants are still hurting after September

11, so show your support of Lower Manhattan while enjoying some of the city's finest foods, One good site will give you all the City's Reataurants, From low cost to expensive eatouts. Fast Food outlets are flooded for people who are Non-Veggie. For Chicken Burgers, Wendy's a place to visit, in any case there are restaurants lined up on any commercial streets. Flushing in NY would be the right choice if you still want to continue eating Indian Tandoori khana.

Around the world in 1 Day.

You'll begin your tour with a filling French breakfast at Les Deux Gamins or at one of its four satellite stop-ins, which are all called Le Gamin Cafe. After croissants and coffee (or something more substantial), a tour of the Museum of African Art in Soho is on deck—don't forget the gift shop! Nearby Chinatown is your next port of call; you can spend hours wandering its winding streets, taking in the cultural and culinary offerings. Have some spicy Vietnamese soup at Nha Trang, or bop over to adjacent Little Italy for a slice at Lombardi's Pizza. Now your ''globetrotting'' agenda will send you uptown, to the

Scandinavia House Museum and then to the Neue Galerie, a new museum devoted to German and Austrian art. After all that culture, it's time to relax with a few Belgian beers at Burp Castle in the East Village. Repaste complete, work off the beers at S.O.B.'s, where you can dance the night away to the sounds of Latin music. When you've had enough of the tango and are craving late-night nourishment, head to Blue Ribbon Sushi for winning fish and excellent sake

For A Few Hundred $$$$$

Well, Compared to London and Other Euro cities, NY is definitely low on your pockets, From eatouts to shopping to travelling around, it's a place not to be missed. New York City may be changed, but it has not lost its grandeur. From fine art museums to Coney Island, from landscaped parks to tony restaurants, the Big Apple still has the power to captivate.

With 2 major international Airports, yellow cabs and a good Subway system, even sky is not the limit,Moving around NY has never been a problem and it's hard to miss the Grand Central Train Terminal that was built almost 100 years ago. Now, it is basically used as the station that brings about 500,000 commuters in and out of Manhattan every working day.

Ok Now, where was I, yeah When I reached Ramgarh, the tangawala ....
