This is heart touching story of a father and son relationship.
In the storyline, A middle aged man Rajiv ( Adil Hussain) is coerced by his father Daya ( Lalit Behl) to take him on a trip of Varanasi. He believes he will achieve salvation there ehen he dies. Rajiv is force to set his job aside and take his father to Varanasi. They check in to Mukti Bhawan where people wait for their death and salvation. There is one rule of this Bhawan that no person will allow to live here more than 15 days. So basically you have to die within 15 days or leave the Mukti Bhawan. An emotional bond is developed between father and son at the Mukti Bhawan. Daya meets people like him who stay to achieve salvation. He meets Vimla ( Navnindra Behl) among them and he develops a friendship with her.
Overall the film represents the truth of the Life it means every people will die when his/her destiny comes.
