Still Need Improvements. Review on Mouthshut

Few months ago, I heard about this platform and then I started using MouthShut. The website is pretty cool, almost everything works perfect, look and design is also impressive but I do not think the same about it's mobile app. Yeah, I know MouthShut team is not going to like this but I would write what I think about this app. There are some things which I really like in this app and some of them I just don't like at all. So what are those things? Here we go:

THE GOOD THINGS -

1 - The first thing which I really like is the'Feed' section. It is very useful and interesting. We can see different types of products which are being reviewed and find some good reviewers to connect with, I mean follow to each other and learn something from them.

2 - Just like the website, search feature is also available in the app. It's very handy to search products and members easily. The search option works fine.

3 - The colorful tiles or cards in the category section looks nice. It is really helpful to find the product or item of your choice.

4 - The new profile section looks much better than before after recently improved design.

THE BAD THINGS -

1 - The first thing which I really don't like is the popup. Write-Share-Win popup shows every time I launch the app. That's annoying. At least developers should add an option to stop it.

2 - I've successfully invited more than 5 people on MouthShut, but I didn't get a single point. It is said we'll get 50 MS point if any friend registers.

3 - There are some unnecessary option on the first page of profile section. I can explain what and why.

~ a. Edit Profile: This is unnecessary because we see the same option when we tap on profile name.

~ b. Reviews: This is also an unnecessary option because reviews link and profile name link take us to the safe place that our profile.

4 - Use of space in the profile section is not that good. In profile, shown badges and'achievements' are the same things. Either you tap on any badge icon or achievements, you'll see the same thing.

SOME SUGGESTIONS:

I've some suggestion for the MouthShut app, which can be considered as request.

1 - Remove the unnecessary things which are mentioned above.

2- Bring the notification area to the mail page. For now, to see notification we need to go in profile section.

3 - On home page, make the category tiles a little smaller and add some more category there.

4 - The buffering/loading visual is like Microsoft Windows, so bring some fluent design or material design in the app to give it some modern look. Interface looks old to me.

5 - Instead of burring users profile picture in background, add option to set a cover picture of our choice or keep the same cover picture which mouthshut website has.

Well, there are a lots of things yet to tell but that's it for now. No hard feelings!
