Yuck!
All of my life, my parents drank Mountain Dew as if it were the only thing keeping them alive. I would try a few sips here and there and immediately make a cute little kid face about it.
When I got married, lo and behold, my husband's favorite drink was .... you guessed it - Mountain Dew! Now there are two 24 packs stored away in my refrigerater and all I can think when I open the door is ''eeeewwwwwwwww''
Maybe my tastebuds work different that those of others, but mountain dew tastes like solid sugar/syrup/water mix, there is no subtle taste about it. And once you have taken that drink of Mountain Dew, it is all over... that terribly sticky taste will linger in you mouth for the rest of the day.
I would much rather take a shot of caffine in the bootie than to have to feel Mountain Dew in my mouth. This drink is loaded with sugars, caffine and sodium (which I can't have anyway because I have congestive heart failure.
Have you ever had a mountain dew that was flat? Well... that is another opinion!
