I have booked my car on 28th October paying 1 lakh advance, as they are giving some attractive offers. I paid remaining amount through company leased car scheme completely by 24th November. Every day I call them "they always say your car is in transit". Now I have escalated to Ford India and even they are poor in response and inactive in escalating the show room to get the car billed and delivered. After repeated requests on December 10 they are ready bill my car next week and will be shipped. Now they started new glitch offers made were not valid and I have pay for the free accessories offered.
I would like explain sequence of events and differences:
Booked car on 28th october.
My loan about to deliver and got information from dealer car price increased.
Requested for loan adjustment.
A car arrived, but as my loan not got disbursed we agreed to deliver the car to other customer as I don't want them to loose upon promise "I get car delivery with in a couple of days of amount paid"
Amount paid on 24th November.
Lot of discussions about twists with the offers and finally I got my car by 19 December.
Now For TR happened on 28 with the help of Ford officers.
Further updating on 14th June 2012, Apology for the delay. Purchase done and delivery was done on TC and I made circles around them for TR for 1 week. I finally got my TR by escalating to all Ford officers on 28th December. They really helped me in sorting the problems out, I appreciate Arupsen Gupta and Suresh(corporate head), they reinstated my belief with the company Ford.
After that I got promised accessories as well.
I think this happened only because corporate customers that pays through company where the customer don't have control. I have my friend purchased there which they got average delivery.
After this experience they have also tried to stream line the process improve and I took couple of customers to them and asked them not to leave the same experience of mine. they got decent delivery.
1St service Experience: Average. As I have asked them to clear my bumper ditch and touch. both not done. But people courtesy is good. I will try to find out alternate servicing.
I have changed my ratings but see my below comments:
Finance - Not applicable hence I put average.
Service and Support - I have happy with few officers response, Contacting them early could have resolved my problem sooner. I made it to good.
-Staff courtesy - Average - Inspite of lot of discussions, they did not lost their cool. We mutually respected each other
To be honest car buying is not happy experience for me. Overall, I rate average and it's ok to buy with them if you took precautions. I am recommending to buy only because there is no better dealer. Ford should have good customer relationship officers, in fact they failed to facilitate the delivery properly.
