Matt Murdoch(Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer in Hell's Kitchen, fights crime using his extra sensory abilities to circumvent his blindness. He fights against the local gangs taking over the city and protects the innocent. The series is not for everyone as it is slow and describes the character and lets the plot evolve rather than just burst out unlike the MCU.
The series is one of the best there is on a vigilante which shows the internal conflict of Murdoch whether his means are justified or to just fight for the locals as a lawyer, and the safety and protection of the citizen against the local gangs who have taken over the city.
The main antagonist, Wilson Fisk(Vincent D'Onofrio), a wealthy business man who operates from the shadows and brings together the gangs of Hell's Kitchen to unite them to take over the city.
The storyline is amazing and the cinematography is one of the best around portraying the darkness in the world of criminals and vigilante in the dark streets and alleyways of Hell's Kitchen and its rooftops.
The acting by the cast is amazing the build up to every new discovery is very detailed. This is one of the best Super Hero TV series on the net and is on a different page than the all action and smiles MCU. This is a must watch TV series along with other Marvel TV series Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Iron Fist, and The Punisher.
