On 16 nov 2017 I reached to palakkad with my family we already booked our hotel from bhilai by amit tours and travels we stay 2 days in hotel fort palace rooms are well clean and maintained also free wifi to there guest which I like it
We hire car to reach the place around 30 min I reach the dam
We pack snack and water for picnic place is well clean and maintained ropeway was there for us also boat ride was there I spend great time there
Overall I suggest othere to go for one day picnic with kids there once in life
