MakeMyTrip is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.
I had booked a flight with stop-over itinerary through MakeMyTrip. Unfortunately, the connecting flight was delayed by two days, which made it impossible for me to board the first leg of my journey. Consequently, I had to cancel the ticket for the first flight, which resulted in a loss of ₹;5, 000, as no refund was issued since the first flight operated on time.
Both flights were booked as a combined itinerary through MMT, and I trusted that the connection provided would be reasonably reliable. The two-day delay in the second flight, which was part of the itinerary suggested by MakeMyTrip, rendered the entire journey infeasible. I believe that in such cases, the booking platform bears shared responsibility for the inconvenience and financial impact on the traveler.
Given that the missed connection and resulting cancellation were beyond my control, I request MakeMyTrip to compensate me for the ₹;5, 000 loss I incurred due to this situation. MakeMyTrip just ignored the message saying contact airlines.
