Long lasting Raveena Tondon back as we say. It's a film regarding women power rather than we say mother power.
Storyline is good. The film tell the story of women who gets gang reped by influential men. Her daughter is also raped and killed by the man. After battling her own fears she take the matter in her own hand. A MOTHER CAN GO TO ANY LENGHTS IN ORDER TO REVENGE HER CHILDREN. The film start on a mythological note and end on symbolic note.
Maatr tries to counter rape issue along with the inactivity of police towards rape and abuse victims.
Raveena Tondon is fairly average as rape survivor and a warrior mother vidya. There are scenes where her pain becomes real.
Overall, the film is made with the good intentions and shows a mirror to the insentivity faced by the raped victims by police through instigations and the society by judgements.
We are going two and half stars for the intentions of the film nothing else.
