In the middle of recently launched KTM 250 and 390 dukes, KTM also brought changes in new KTM Duke 200 in 2017. While the style remains same but the company now provides 3 variant colors( the tank got new badge of duke which I specially liked). The new model is with wider mirrors for better visual experience. The interesting fact about the new version is that it is now 5 kg MORE heavy than the past. Well we all know about the performance of duke segment bikes and duke 200 is not an exception. The powerful 199.5 cc liquid cooled engine gives you a quick start of near about 25 bhp. The additional 5 kg weight is like negligible when the throttle is in your hand. But being a sport segment naked bike it fails to climb past 130 kmph. It rides fast and dives sharp. In case of breaking system the dual disc offers decent feedback while the ABS is missing. Moreover the style of naked series in duke remains unique and affordable for the customers as a entry level performance motorcycle. While I will say duke 250 is better which is just rs 30k over the 200. KTM 200 duke price starts from 1.50 lakh. At last its a terrific motorcycle which every enthusiastic person would love to buy or probably had bought one! moreover its also efficient, providing 30-32 kmpl.
