The Colonel would be sad indeed!. Review on KFC, Piplod, Surat

Many years ago while living in New York.

When my children were young,a bucket of

''Kentucky Fried Chicken.'' was a treat to behold!

It was crispy,not greasy!

{Only original was available at that time!}

The Biscuits were flaky,and the ''Cole Slaw'' was creamy!

Potatoes and Gravy, were kid pleasers,

{I never thought they were good!}

It was a good place to go pick up a nice hot meal..

Now-a-days it's a different story!

Very occasionally, I have gone to K.F.C.

{in Florida.}

Thinking to pick up something quick for dinner..

I have found it alway's disappointing.

The Chicken served, seems to be the worst parts.

They always serve Backs/Thighs/& Drumsticks..

Very little meat on those..

They keep adding new items, then deleting them.

''Chicken Pot Pie,'' (Stew with Crust on Top)

High calorie count..Tasted O.K {it has been deleted}

''Roasted Whole Chicken'' quite good, {It's gone}

Biscuits are still flaky..

''Cole Slaw'' is still O.K.

French Fries, are not good.. Soggy!

Peppery Gravy..

Mashed potatoes stick together like glue.

Both still have undesirable taste!

Now I do realize that a lot of changes

have taken place, over the many years that this

Franchise has been in business..

And again, It is all up to the local folks

that are handling the operation..

But each and every time, While traveling around America,

I do not find the old ''K.F.C'' of ''Colonel Sanders'' Days..

Young people are running things, in MOST of these

''Fast Food'' type Places.

The pay in low,and the incentive is not there..

So Colonel, wherever you are!

Things are not like they used to be!!
