This seems to be a great place to meet like minded people in similar professions/career tracks..
I am a lead developer and work in banking software development projects. A1s my boss would have it, I was aked to do an MCSD....exhausative certification to prepare for.
I checked out quite a few institutes and finally zeroed in on Karrox --- coz these guys are mainly into certification and relatd training. The other institutes seem to be more of jack of all trades types. I think it turned out to be among the best decisions I ever made.
Firstly, their trainers are very approachable and patient. There were instances where we were often encouraged to ask questions rather than face the computer all the time - I guess that's what we were there for - if I were to learn it all by myself facing the machine, why would I pay someone to teach?
Great labs, I must say. But you have to plan a bit if you wanna stay in for long hours.
Great place to meet like-minded professionals. Close to 70% of my class consisted of working professionals ...and more than 40% had more development experience that me. So I get to learn faster --- as quicker
If you stay on with their course schedule and work hard for the exams, MCSD is a cakewalk
Interesting soft skills courses: I did not do much of those courses but I must add that the course material seemed quite interesting - one of these days I might just join in for those.
