Just back from watching this movie & am still trying to figure out how many plots were there in this movie. Nothing in this movie makes any sense.Like when Akshay Kumar destroys Lara Dutta's house in the begining.& within a day he replaces everything in the house that he destroyed including the LCD TV, replacing the pet parrot with a Lion he bought at a "Sher-bazaar"! He is supposed to be unemployed throughout the movie but yet manages to do the above!
Anyways, even if we choose to ignore the lack of any sense in the movie, the(sic) attempts at humor left me almost choking myself to death. Chunky Pandey with a very lame attempt at an Italian accent, Ritesh Deshmukh & Akshay Kumar getting into "Dostana" kind of situations, Deepika not looking her usual "Supermodel" self.these are just some of the things that made this movie really painful to watch. A few months ago, Ajay Devgun had attempted a similar mad-cap comedy in All The Best which was also filled with sad one liners & some really stupid plots.
Somehow, nowadays real good comedies like "Hera Pheri" etc are few & far in between & the masses seem to somehow encourage mindless toilet humor. There is even a "Santa-Banta" scene added towards the end.The best part was the end `cuz at least that ended the misery. Watch at your own risk. If you really hate someone, sponsor their tickets for this movie.Trust me, you will get your money's worth.
