Gear shifting mechanism was problematic from the second day of ownership. .The left Shimano shifter was replaced twice. All expenses for the shifters and service were borne by the shop. I was told these kind of problems occur in one out of dozen cycles.
Otherwise, I just love the cycle as it is great value otherwise. Would recommend this model to others. Excellent features: power brakes, rear carrier, strong bottle holder with a 500ml sipper in it, alloy rims that are rust proof, excellent tyres, 18 spd shimano gears, alloy brake stalks, good handle grips.
