Never ever go for HDFC credit card. They debited amount of Rs. 37000/- from my HDFC Salary account for no reason and without any notice. I have no option left but to move to consumer court and take legal action.
According to them, they had given me a loan on phone without my signature and amount was due for that. Interestingly, I was not in India for most of the time. They have no proof that the amount was transfered to my account. I had written more than 5 letters, 3 emails and don't remember the number of calls, I made to customer care but didn't get a single reply, but they directly debited my account, even when they didn't have the authority to auto debit.
I have been using other credit cards but this was more than the worst experience one could even think of. Even now they are not ready to revert the charges. Since I am already starting with the legal procedure, please let me know if anyone faced the same so that a collective action could be taken. My email is jumpiin@yahoo.co.uk
