Jab Atithi went international!!
Jul 07, 2017 10:26 PM 1002 Views

Plot:

Performance:

Music:

Cinematography:

This is almost an international version of Ajay Devgan-Paresh Rawal starrer "Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge"(2010).

A poor story with a much poorer screenplay and outdated dailogues. Kartik and his fake wife Kriti(just to get the citizenship) live in London. They are shocked by the visit of their uninvited guests, and the story revolves around how they try to send them back.

Performance wise Kartik and Kriti have done a good job. Their chemistry is good, Kartik looks super charming with a likeable vibe and Kriti has an enduring look throughout the movie. Tanvi Azmi has given a decent performance but was not having a much significant role. But when it comes to Paresh Rawal, inspite of having a really good comic time in all his work, he was unable to  deliver the same in "Guest Iin London". Special mention to the director- Buddy farting more than a hundred times and having a song on farting is not called comedy. Sanjay Mishra is extremely unfunny in the role of a cop.  Apart from all this, Ajay Devgan also has a special appearance in the movie.

Now when it comes to music, though originality is missing in half of the playlist but they still manage to make the audience tap their feet. I personally liked the song "Dil Mera." a lot.

Cinematography is not that good. Scenes look much graphical at times.

Suggestion: Again this 138 minutes long fart-box is not worth your 200 bucks if you really expected some good rom-com this weekend.
