Popularly known as ghoom monastery its a wonderful monastety around 8 km from darjeeling. It has an approx 18 feet high Buddha statue and you will surely feel quite peaceful here.
The place is also famous for its Highgate which is decorated with Buddhist art. I was really happy to be in this place as this place reminded me of my visit to the golden monastery in Coorg. One can see a lot of flags in this placs which symbolizes the Buddhist religion
