DISH TV == ditch tv. Review on Dish TV

To avoid disconnections(as they disconnect channels the day your subscription period gets over without any warnings whatsoever), I made an advance payment(online) using my credit card on 28 January, 2007 and 29th January, 2007 totaling  Rs. 3260/-. I do have the proof in form of SBI credit card statement. Also Dish TV has confirmed this payment vide ref no. RS-29/01/07CR-51672.

The payment being made, I was happy and felt that I would be relaxing for another year.

But to my horror and despair, I saw that few channels(Star, Zee and Cartoon Network) were disabled from my package. On asking customer care, I got the reply saying that my payments have been transferred back to the bank as the amount has bounced back. I immediately called up the bank to confirm the same. SBI people told me that there is no such reversal from Dish TV into my account.

Now I got the accounts department number 0120-2599380 from customer care. On speaking to them I got the actual story. They told me that the following amounts had been transferred from my account to another DISH TV accounts on my request. Now the big question is, why the hell should I call them and tell them to transfer my money into someone else’s account?

Now can someone tell me what the use of such a service…. If these things continue, how can we trust the growth of technology? Do we need to get back to the old cable TV system.

And is somebody out there listening…. such a system … you make all the payment and still your TV is shut down!%#$%#$#@^$)(****^%&% !
