I have been a loyal customer of Daikin for over 6 years, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed and compelled me to reconsider my trust in your brand.


I had booked a service request for an issue with my AC, and the technician who first visited was rude, highly unprofessional, and evidently inexperienced. He failed to diagnose the problem, kept making phone calls for help, and ultimately advised me to get the unit repaired from Urban Company instead. He claimed another technician would visit the following day.


On 17th May 2025, the second technician visited and reported an error code "U2" but was unsure of its meaning. Without proper diagnosis, he insisted on uninstalling the AC, stating that he would need to leak the gas, for which I would be charged. However, a cross-check the following day revealed that the gas was not leaked at all, indicating clear malpractice and an attempt to falsely charge me.


When I reported this matter to the service centre manager at Shivam Refrigeration, I was shocked to see him defending the technician without verifying the facts. Furthermore, I was pressured to pay in advance for a PCB replacement, despite no confirmed diagnosis.


To make matters worse, your customer care centres were of no help. Every time I called, I was given standard policy responses with no effort made to truly understand or assist with the issue. Calls were frequently kept on hold for long durations, and no meaningful resolution was offered.


Daikin products may be reliable, but your after-sales service is utterly disappointing, and service centres like Shivam Refrigeration are tarnishing your brand image with their fraudulent and unethical practices. If such behavior continues, I assure you that many long-term customers like me will lose all faith in Daikin.


I demand a formal investigation into this matter and a clear explanation of how you intend to rectify this. Failing to take strict action will force me to not only stop using Daikin products but also to actively discourage others from purchasing them.
