Beware of Imperial Refrigeration and Their Unethical Practices
I would like to highlight a serious concern regarding Imperial Refrigeration and its proprietor Mr. Amarjot Singh. It has come to my attention that he sourced a Sri Lankan model Daikin AC at a discounted price and sold it to me at the same rate, without disclosing that it was not a standard Indian unit.
According to Daikin, the warranty for such units is to be handled directly by the dealer, not by Daikin India. However, despite repeated follow-ups, Mr. Amarjot Singh has completely refused to provide any after-sales support.
This is not only unethical but highly unprofessional. Customers should be warned that Imperial Refrigeration is selling non-standard units and then abandoning customers when issues arise. I feel cheated and urge others to be cautious when dealing with this dealer.
Im extremely disappointed with my experience with Daikin and their authorized dealer Imperial Refrigeration(located at 3830/1, 2 & 3, Air Conditioner Market, Dr. David Street, Darya Ganj, New Delhi 110002).
On 1st May 2024, I purchased three Daikin air conditioners(two 1-ton units and one 1.5-ton unit) for my new residence at A-6/43, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi 110063. While the two 1-ton ACs have been working fine, the 1.5-ton unit has never worked properly since day one.
Initially, I didnt use it much, so I didnt notice the issue right away. But when guests came over last year and I tried to use it, I found that the AC was not cooling at all. I reported this issue to Mr. Amanjot Singh, the dealer, and even followed up multiple times. A Daikin technician named Mr. Shyam visited on 26th February and claimed to repair it without replacing the faulty PCB, which was suspected to be the issue.
Since it was winter at the time, I couldn't test it properly. But when I tried using it recently, I discovered that the same issue still persistsno cooling at all. Even after the PCB was finally replaced last week by the dealer, the AC still doesnt work. Its now clear to me that this unit is completely defective.
I sent a formal email on 16/05/2025, demanding urgent resolution or replacement of the unit, but there has been no response or action from Daikins service team. For a brand as reputed as Daikin, this kind of customer service is shocking.
If the issue is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to take legal action and file a complaint in Consumer Court. Im posting this here to warn other buyersplease think twice before purchasing from Daikin or Imperial Refrigeration. I expected reliability and support, but all I got was a faulty product and endless frustration.
