This review is TO HELP YOU IF YOUR MONEY IS STUCK with this company, or if they haven’t given you services as promised. Fortunately for me, since I come from a family of lawyers and bureaucrats, I got the right legal advice. Below are points that will help you as a consumer to get whats rightfully yours.
Put up your complaint on the NATIONAL CONSUMER HELPLINE. They will help you get your refund, compensation, or any other service that the company is bound to. You can also call their helpline number 1800 11 4000 or 14404 if you find it difficult to fill the form. Here is the link: https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/ Aap hindi mein bhi form bhar sakte hain.
Incase the company threatens you or blackmails you to take your case back, do NOT.(I didn’t know this) Notify National Consumer Helpline. You can also make an FIR WITH DELHI POLICE, in person, or even online. Here is the link for online FIR: https://delhipolice.nic.in/citizen_services
In rarest of rare cases, if National Consumer Helpline is unable to help you, you can then file a case against them at the designated CONSUMER COMMISSION. This is the link for the list: https://ncdrc.nic.in/districtlist.html You only need to go and register your case and have 4-5copies of your documents & proofs. Incase you are unable to go, you can file the case online. Cases are usually resolved within 3months.
NOTIFY THE HOTELS(by email) who’s name they are misusing in order to lure you into buying these packages. All the 5star Hotels have a strong customer care team and you can also choose to notify their international headquarters. This company has NO “tie-ups” with anyone. They buy prepaid stay vouchers, which anyone can purchase. Find out others who have also been cheated by them, form a group, and RUN A SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN AGAINST THEM. They have their Facebook/instagram/twitter handles, tag them to let them know. Tag social media influencers, get your friends & family to amplify the post. I have got my refund after going by my lawyer’s helpful advices.
The documents that they scare you with saying “you have signed it” is illegitimate. I have verified it with a supreme court lawyer. There are too many illegal & contradictory statements there.(On website and verbally they say refund is only after availing first holiday. But document says no-refund under any circumstances.)
This company is sadly run by uneducated, ill-informed people who don’t have basic knowledge of the laws & power a consumer has.
Govt Of India has empowered consumers with a lot of support.
So PLEASE DON’T WORRY!
Although I got my refund, they never apologised.
