This book is a nature lovers delight. If you have grown up or lived in any rainy country like Kerala, west coast or Northeast, you can feel it.
I have spent all my young years in Kerala watching rains in Palghat, Cochin and other areas.
I could feel the smell of earth and the sound of rains in his book.
I tried to replicate his trip and enjoyed partly from Kovalam Beach till Mangalore by train.
I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you are a travel bug , you must do it one day.
The thrill of the wait anticipating the rain in Kerala is fantastic!
The people look up to the skies in the first week of June giving all kinds of predictions .
His observations and descriptions are very good.
There is so much of nature around us and we take it for granted without taking time to relax and enjoy it !
