I used bsnl broadband 3 years before for just an year. It was the worst product that I had come across in my life.
The worst part is the service. They will come to your home only atleast after 1 week after your complaint is registered. The biggest problem that I faced was the connectivity. As the broadband line is through underground, there was always a problem with the cables. They will always dig up holes to correct it and after a few days same thing happens again and again. This saga continued on for almost a year so I told enough is enough.
so now i'm using railwire broadband connection which is the best and has great service.
