After suffering with Punjab national bank for more then eight years I finally decided to shift to Bank of India and to my expectation this bank is thousand times better then the bank mentioned before. It took them 10 minutes to open my savings account and handed me my ATM card. You can open saving account from zero balance as well.
The thing I like about bank of India is its fast service response and their very friendly staff. But as this is nationalized bank they lack in various departments such as they do not provide mutual funds or stock trading account in their smaller branches where private banks like HDFC and ICICI can provide you with the same despite of the location of the branch. And their small ATM network maybe a deal breaker for many customers. Overall Bank of India is great and fast bank as I have never faced any issue till now.
