We purchased the Aquaguard® Select Edge Water Purifier with Stainless Steel, expecting durability and reliable service. However, just after two years, the purifier started leaking, and we discovered that the filter had broken.
To our disappointment, the replacement filter is priced at Rs. 6800, which is excessively high. Even worse, it is not available in the market, making it nearly impossible to repair and continue using the product. A company selling essential home appliances should ensure easy availability of spare parts at reasonable prices.
Such business practices—selling expensive products without long-term support—are unacceptable. Customers should not be forced to replace an entire unit simply because a basic part is unavailable. Companies like this should be held accountable, and regulatory action should be taken against them to prevent others from facing similar issues.
I urge authorities to look into this matter, and I strongly advise potential buyers to reconsider purchasing from this brand due to the lack of after-sales support.
