I went to amritsar in my diwali holidays 2 years back by a shatabdi train.Reached their in almost 5 to 6 hours .The place seemed intersting.
We rested for rest of the day as we were tired of travelling.The next day we went to one of the main city attractions, the golden temple.It was beautiful.We tried the food in langar too and it was hygienic and delicious.Plz dont forget to eat at the golden temple in the LANGAR.It is a part of the trip.
We went to some historical places too like the jallianwala bagh.
The place I liked the most was the bagha border
We were filled with energy by watching the grandeur and magnificance of the parade.We absolutely loved it.
Amritsari cholay kulchay were literally amazing!
SUGGESTION-We ate the kuchay first at a good restraunt and found the taste very good.But when we were at the railway station waiting for the train to go back, we got some cholay kulchay from a DHABA and they were literally amazing! I suggest to eat them at a local dhaba instead of a glamourous high class restraunt.
The thing I didnt like about the place was its limited places to visit.The place is just a 2 day visit and covers only two or three majot places to visit.
