I had the opportunity to see at the Rang Sharda Auditorium, one of the first performances of this fantastic Ballet, conceived and enacted by Ayesha Julka quite sometime ago. I can vouch that the ARTISTE
in Ayesha Julka is reborn with this ballet. The choreography and the music are just out of this world and so is the enacting of the name role by Ayesha. I wish that talented people like her should give more such displays and pray that she establishes herself as a front ranking artiste in her own right. The ballet has an intelligent mixture of folk with the classical both in the musical and the dance format. Additionally, the acting is just first grade by all the artistes. The transition of a shy village girl into a successful star due to her dedication and devotion are very well depicted in the play.
