Long but touching story of a reserved person, Raj (Ajay Devgan) who works ultra hard in his office during the day and looks after his brother, Rahul (Dushyant Wagh) during the rest of the time. Rahul is suffering from cerebral palsy. Due to this, Ra decides he will never marry and commits himself to look after his young brother. He is introduced to his boss's (Prem Chopra) neice, Madhuri (Sonali Bendre) and she suggests Rahul be put in a re-hab centre. After much thinking he does put his brother in a re-hab centre only to take him away in the climax. There is also a parallel story of a S&E Officer (Shivaji Satam) who has to deal with his tomboyish daughter (Namrata Shirodkar) and his good for nothing son and an ''English'' speaking wife (Reema lagoo). His daughter loves Raj but after learning that he cant be hers, runs away with local mechanic. Not a hard hitting film but a very touching film which intenses only during the second half. Very true to life and down to earth movie. Only problem is that the songs should have been avoided except the ones used in the background. Natural and Touching performancs by all the actors and actressess. Largely inspired from My Left Foot and Awakenings and loosely inspired from Rain Man. Dushyant Wagh is No Daniel Day Lewis (who won the best actor oscar for my left foot) or Robert De Niro (Who was nominated for the best actor oscar for awakenings) or Dustin Hoffman (Who won the best actor oscar for rain man) but he has given a comendable performance.

Psst -

1) Thats Director Mahesh Manjrekar as the stage announcer in the film.
