I bought a Sony Bravia X75K 55-inch Smart LED TV(Model KD-55X75K) from Pai Electronics, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. Within just a little over 2 years, a vertical line appeared on the screen(panel failure).
Sony service technician inspected the TV and confirmed it is a panel issue. But instead of resolving it under goodwill / extended support, Sony asked me to pay ₹;93, 964 for a replacement TV and also take away my old TV with all accessories and box.
This is extremely disappointing. A TV worth over ₹;1.6 lakh should not get a panel fault so soon. No brand should ask customers to pay almost 1 lakh again after 2 years.
Very poor quality. Very poor customer service.
I strongly advise not to buy Sony TVs anymore quality is not like before and service is only about extra money.
We will be approaching Consumer Court for this matter.
