Ok guys and gals! First of all I must confess, I'm a total bike-freak and I did own a Roadking for about three months, then I hadda dispose it -

First, it's a VERY powerful bike. If it's tuned right, ie- if a slight twist on the throttle leads to a spurt in velocity!, then it WILL leave the others behind in a cloud of smoke! The downside being - very bad mileage!

Second, it's got an amazing feel, but for a bike this powerful, it's got cable-drum brakes which really don't do it for you. Imagine clipping 80-100kph and braking, whooooa....! stops after an amazingly long distance! In short, open this baby up ONLY if you're on the highway. Or, get a disc-brake kit (doubtful).

BOTTOMLINE

If you want a city bike- this is not the bike for you! However, if you want to cruise lets say from city to city, then the Roadking is definitely your baby!

Cost:

Bike in mint condition - Rs. 15,000 (max)

Bike in ok condition - not more than Rs. 10,000

Bike in bad condition - Rs. 5000 - Rs. 7500
