Before she was wonder woman she was Diana, princess of the amazons trained warrior when a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world she leaves home to fight a war discovering her full powers and true destiny.
First of all this movie only made money because it's a superhero movie. everyone likes to take their children to see it. look at transformers most of the movies are downright idiotic but it still money because it's transformers. so all popular comic book hero movies will make money period.
