Hi Friends, Today I am going to share my personal opinion on the'niversity of Mumbai'. I have completed my graduation from this university only. But I want to tell you that this university is not so good to study and not suitable for any academic programs.
First of all, the admission process of this university is so lengthy process, we have to submit lots of documents for admission process and if you are in cast then again you have to collect more documentation for this. So they need to improve on this.
They were taking whole year's money in only one installment, so in that case middle class people can't afford this to pay the annual fees. They have arranged the classes for daily basis, but faculty was absent always and sometimes they cancelled the lectures for many petty issues.
Extracurricular activity was not going to happen in this university, that is main disadvantage of this university. Mid semester Exam Dates were postpone most of the time. Teaching skills of faculty was too old and will be not getting anything to learn. They just make study more difficult and harder and makes more pressure on students.
Teachers never provides their notes to students for exam preparation and they always told us to refer 4-5 reference book for one subject, that is too difficult to study. At least they have to provide notes to their students. There were lots of Academic Programs conducted by this university, but they failed t deliver the knowledge to the students.
Overall it is not a good university for your academic career. So I will not recommend this to anyone. I hope my review will helpful to take right decision.
