Calcutta university is one of the best universities of West Bengal and of Eastern India.
Academics is its strong point.There are many courses here for studying like Physics, Chemistry, Applied Math, Pure Math, B.Tech, Radiology, Bengali, Geography, Biology etc. The teachers are quite amicable and always happy to help.
The administration is quite strong and fair.The main campus of CU is at College Street. In Rajabazar, there are secretary offices.
There are a lot of extra-curricular activites.Students take part in Cricket, Football, Badmiton competition.They often attend Debate, Poster making competition and Blood-donation Camp.
Alumni network is quite strong here.We often attend seminars and lectures of the ex-students of CU.
Overall, it is really a university worth studying at.
