How to be spot-free?

Yes, I must have tried most of the products advertised which claim to improve your complexion by removing those horrid bumps on your skin called pimples or acne vulgaris which affect 75% of teenagers and young adults of both sexes. It definitely is not a life-threatening condition but ask those who have suffered, it is much worse than that.

I have used Clearasil - it definitely did not help me. Did not even dry out the pimples. Don't know if I should blame the product or myself for using it. Again, each individual's skin is different so what might work for somebody might not work for you, so be very cautious if you love your skin... (yes, am telling this but do get this incredible urge to use any new interesting skin care product that comes up... but I have reformed.. trying my best to keep my skin happy :-)) By the way, I have combination/sensitive skin.

Again, as for these pimple creams, there are some which do help in drying out the pimple, but what I have found is most of them leave behind a ghastly scar, which again you will have to break your head how to get rid of. When it comes to your skin, especially the facial skin, before trying on any cream/lotion (be it for acne or fairness/complexion) please consult your dermatologist.

The best thing I have learned, of course after a lot of trials which have left some unpleasant potholes on my face, is the LESSER THE BETTER rule for your skin. Your skin needs to breathe so stop clogging those pores with unnecessary creams and lotions. What has really worked for me (again might or might not work for you but since it is a natural remedy, could be no harm in trying, but be cautious) is a bit of squeezed lemon and rose water applied on skin with a ball of cotton - I have had no side effects and of course, no scars and to top it, it is readily available and very economical.
